1. About These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of air conditioning and refrigeration services by FHC Refrigeration (ABN 32 406 537 688), based in Coffs Harbour, NSW. By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Quotes

All quotes provided by FHC are free and obligation-free unless otherwise stated. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotes are based on information available at the time of assessment. If site conditions differ materially from those assessed, we reserve the right to revise the quote before work commences. We will discuss any changes with you before proceeding.

3. Acceptance of Work

Work is accepted when you provide written or verbal authorisation to proceed with a quoted scope of work. By authorising work, you confirm that you are the property owner or have authority to authorise works at the property, and that all information provided is accurate.

4. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, or cash. For commercial or larger jobs, deposit terms may apply as specified in the quote. Overdue accounts may attract interest at the rate of 2% per month on the outstanding balance. Any costs incurred in recovering outstanding amounts will be passed on to the client.

5. Warranty

All installation and repair work is warranted against defects in workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion. Equipment and parts are covered by the relevant manufacturer's warranty. Warranty claims must be reported to FHC promptly. Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, lack of maintenance, power surges, or acts outside our reasonable control.

6. Access

You are responsible for ensuring safe and unobstructed access to the work area. Any costs arising from access delays or restricted access that were not disclosed at the time of quoting may be charged additionally.

7. Cancellations

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may incur a cancellation fee of $75 to cover travel and scheduling costs. Emergency call-outs cancelled after a technician has been dispatched may incur a call-out fee.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FHC's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the cost of the services performed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Website Use

The content on our website is provided for general information purposes only. While we take care to keep information accurate and up to date, we make no warranties regarding completeness or accuracy. We are not liable for any loss arising from reliance on website content.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
